I know I only spend an hour or so with the families I work with, and most I have never met before, but when you take pictures you can get a feel of the family pretty quick as individual and group dynamics tend to shine in these session. The camera also has a wonderful habit of catching the little interactions that the eye misses. Maybe it’s a silly smile or a touch of a hand, or just how a family leans on each other. It’s a beautiful rhythm, and always a gift.
This family has spirit and energy and ease that felt like a long and wonderful exhale. A Sunday afternoon. A grateful heart. And I am grateful for them sharing that with me.
