This family was one of the nicest I’ve met this year. Grandma and grandpa arrived from Taiwan the day before the shoot to spend time with their daughter, son and eight grandchildren. Despite the jet lag, they were incredibly gracious — and patient — as we planned and executed this 14 person family session.
We initially planned to shoot outdoors but the cold weather made that less than ideal — especially for the little ones.
After some searching around and crowdsourcing, I called the Westfield Marriott. Sunshine, the manager, agreed to let us do the session in the hotel lobby and on the beautiful grounds. Huge shout out to both her and Wade who was working the front desk with her that day. They made us feel so welcome. The Marriott should be proud.
