Some people are stars — that shine bright in the night sky and get everyone’s attention.
Some people are the moon - they reflect the glory of others.
And some people are the sun — the constant light. The life-giver. Warmth.
The mom of this beautiful family was the sun.
She was patient. She was kind. Her glow was a late summer afternoon.
And she radiated love.
When we first started the session, her beautiful daughter was shy. Wouldn’t look at the camera shy. But the more she interacted with her mom, the more the daughter got comfortable. And the photos I share show are of a confident young woman, shining bright in the sun.
My favoite shot is the last one — of mom and one of her sons. He was asking her a pretty deep question, and she was answering openly and honestly. It’s simple, and open, and mom is illuminated by the sun.
