After the snow sculpture, I decided to try my hand at real sculpting. Got clay today (and a bit of a workout — it was a 20lb block.) at an art store. It reminded me of when I was in high school getting art supplies.

This is a rough attempt at a bust. We all need to start somewhere. Here is where I am beginning. I love trying new things. This is hard but fun. Bonus shot of me in high school in 1987 — doing my first and only sculpture.
