I’m dating myself here, but one of my favorite movies is LA Story, by Steve Martin. It’s the story of a jaded (but wacky) weatherman who finds love on the streets of Los Angeles. In the movie, Harris Telemacker, the lead character, writes “bored beyond belief” on a window, contemplating his despair with modern life.

I, on the other hand, am grateful beyond belief. Grateful for the families who have trusted me with their memories. Grateful for the friendships I have made. Grateful for the people I have met. Grateful for the recommendations. Grateful beyond belief.

I have a half dozen sessions before the end of the year, but I wanted to take the time now to say thanks to everyone I have met so far. I hope I have done you all justice.

I am sure I will post more before 2020, but until then, how about a highlight of this super cute family. Take a good look at these kiddos. They have the most amazing eyes. Never saw anything like it. They just sparkled. Both of them.

A huge shout out to Merrifield Garden Center. This wonderful place not only opens their nursery up to families and photograpers, but welcomes them with open arms. All the photos below are from Merrifield. It is one of my favoite places.
