Most people who live in my area hate Braddock Road, and I am one of them. It links the Washington DC Beltway to Fairfax and Manassas, and pretty much every hour of the day it is hell to drive.

Last week I was taking my son Chris to the driving range which, like everything by my house, is “down Braddock Road.” As we sat in traffic I happened to notice an abandoned development road that had the most beautiful foliage.

So, like ya do, I texted my gorgeous neighbor, friend, and favorite local real estate agent at a red light and asked if she and her boys could meet me there for an impromtu photoshoot. Before the sun went down, I once again drove down Braddock Road with them to grab a few shots.

Love my neighbor. Love my friend. Love this little spot. Hate Braddock Road.
